Water management districts in the State of Florida work in collaboration with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection under the Florida Water Resources Act (Chapter 373, Florida Statutes). The water management districts and FDEP work together to resolve statewide water planning and management issues pertaining to water supply, flood protection, floodplain management, water quality, and protection of natural systems.

LULC Photo Interpretation Key
The Photo Interpretation Key is to be used with the District’s Land Use and Cover datasets. It contains general information about the mapping methods, mapping conventions, and includes photographs of each land use and cover classification used at the District.
